Allen Yee, MD
Operational Medical Director, Chesterfield Fire & EMS
Dr. Allen Yee is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services and serves as an Assistant Professor with Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems, where he works closely with EMS fellows in clinical training and medical oversight.
He serves as the Operational Medical Director for Chesterfield Fire & EMS and as Regional Medical Director for the ODEMSA region. In these roles, Dr. Yee is deeply committed to educating EMS professionals and advancing high-quality, evidence-based prehospital care through strong medical direction and protocol development.
At the state level, Dr. Yee contributes to the advancement of EMS systems by serving on the Virginia State EMS Advisory Board as Chair of the Medical Direction Committee, Patient Care Coordinator, and Chair of the Mobile Integrated Healthcare Workgroup, where he helps lead innovative approaches to patient-centered care.
Dr. Yee is passionate about fostering collaboration among both career and volunteer EMS providers and promotes a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and service to the community.
His contributions to Virginia’s local, regional, and statewide EMS systems are exceptional and highly valued by the Commonwealth. We are honored to welcome Dr. Yee as a speaker at this year’s Central Virginia EMS Education Expo.
